Sunday morning worship is our central weekly event as a community. Our worship is influenced by several different worship “streams.” For example, worship begins with about 15 minutes of contemporary music led by our worship band. People are free to stand or sit during this time. Our pastor then greets the congregation and shares some thoughts about worship and the theme for the day. The rest of our worship resembles the flow of a fairly traditional order of worship, but done creatively and inter-generationally with media, different age choirs, both child and adult readers, and a pastor who preaches without notes about the challenges and opportunities of following Christ in today’s world. Time is also given for people to “give witness” to what God has been doing in their lives.
If you come to one of our worship services, you’ll find that we don’t just worship God, we enjoy him. We also love and enjoy one another.
